  • "Pizza-making Class"
Went for a pizza making class at this restaurant in June and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The very experienced Fernando was a great teacher for pizza making telling us the ins and outs of he perfect pizza dough as well as sharing his knowledge of the local area. Not only was the pizza making great fun, once we had finished with the class we were sat at a table and served a three course meal as well as wine which was all included in the price which made the whole thing all the better. I would highly recommend this class to pizza lovers and people looking for a cookery class when in Rome, I doubt there are many better out there!

  • "The best way to end our fabulous visit to Rome"
My husband and I visited Rome for our 35th anniversary and wanted to have a fun, unique experience there. We love to cook together and we love pizza so when I stumbled upon The Art of Making Pizza Class at That's Amore, we knew this was perfect for us. We were not disappointed. The communication from my first inquiry was pleasant and informative. And the evening was a night to remember. We were welcomed warmly upon our arrival. Our chef-teacher was Monica - so sweet and accommodating. She explained the entire process of making pizza, from the dough to the finished product. All along the way she offered one-on-one help and attention, and volunteered to take pictures of each of us throughout the evening as we prepared our masterpieces. The pizza was delicious, some of the best we've ever eaten. There was plenty of food, drinks, and lively conversation with our fellow cooking classmates, and we felt like we had not only learned the true of art of making authentic Italian pizza but we had also gained new friends. Thank you, That's Amore and staff for making this experience a night we will treasure forever! Gracie mille, That's Amore!

    "Excellent Pizza Making Lessons"
My family and I made reservations to get pizza making lessons at this restaurant. The owner greeted us to an empty restaurant (the lessons are before opening lunch time) with aprons. He was a wonderful man (I am so sorry to have forgotten his name) with great English and a lovely personality! He showed us step by step how to make thepizza dough, giving us tips and tricks, and then we got to actually make it into a pizza. The finished raw pizza was taken from us and placed in the wood fired grill to cook while we sat down to enjoy appetizers and aperol spritzs. Our pizzas turned out nicely and we got to enjoy our creations as well as an amazing and unforgettable dessert that I dream about to this day. We had such a FUN experience making pizza and learning -- we even got rolling pins each as souvenirs!
